Though we have some funding through our school, we rely heavily on our membership fees to pay for our equipment and our competitive team’s tournaments — many of which include travel costs.

While we are grateful to have many courts on campus, they are in very bad shape. We are unable to play at night due to the lack of lighting — which limits our practice availabilities, especially as full time students. We also cannot host tournaments to invite other teams to our school (which would help us make money, gain recognition, and make connections) because our courts are severely cracked.

These big-project things are vital to the future of our club, but cannot be done without more funding. We would put additional funding towards the following things:

• resurfacing the courts

• replacing the broken nets

• adding light fixtures

• getting a shed to store our equipment — replacing old court-maintenance equipment

• supplementing membership costs for those who cannot afford it
